Elm Street Bar & Lounge: Reviews & Ratings
After a harrowing drive in the pouring rain from the airport to downtown Toronto, the Chelsea Hotel's bar and lounge was a welcome, late night retreat for delicious food. We shared a Caesar salad with charred Brussels, and a tender, juicy flatiron steak. So satisfying! Oh, they have a Quebec Unibroue IPA on tap - loved it too!
Staff tried hard. Food was pretty good. Was confused about the offer from the “fixed menu” we had. Wouldn’t allow me to switch out the pasta. Other pasta was the same price / value. First offer from the waiter was to do for $20 (the value is only $20). Second offer from the manager was to not do it. Ended up ordering an extra meal just because. Then they brought out 2 deserts that weren’t part of the fixed menu because they were out of the other. They can make changes ahhoc but customers can’t? Seems like an odd way to ruin a dining experience.
Excellent little lounge and bar in the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, quality is excellent and prices reasonable. My server Eleni was attentive but allowed me to take my time. The Old Fashions were great. The atmosphere is normally good, but there were loud and obnoxious people at the bar who should have been told to leave. Overall though, a great place for drinks or a light meal.
Was the perfect spot to stop before our concert! Food came out really fast! Even if we had to wait a bit for the drinks, that was no problem. Food was incredible, drinks were good, and as someone who hates chocolate cake… that chocolate cake was magical
Really good service. Good crab and lobster pasta. Steak was perfectly cooked cranberry Brie was also good. So many flavours in the deep fried cauliflower.
Elm St. Bar & Lounge at the Chelsea Hotel is a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The flat iron steak is very good. The service is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Overall, a good place for a casual yet enjoyable dining experience.
Tremendous staff make this cozy hotel lounge perfect for anonymity & vibes. Oleh (an evening bartender) and Alunsha (assistant manager) were such good company, and the whole team is so positive & skillful. Who knows, you might even spot a celebrity. Given the strike by the liquor-workers’ union, the Elm Street @ Yonge (located in the lovely Chelsea Hotel) was probably busier than usual while I was there (evenings from 7/12 to 7/15/24). With high stakes football games to boot. ???????????????????????????????????????????????? The environment was exciting and the staff handled the load with grace. Good selection of whiskey, some of which you may not see again. I appreciate you all
